FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A bald eagle is flying free again after getting caught in a soccer net near Churubusco.

The immature bald eagle was discovered Thursday. A trained handler with Soarin' Hawk Raptor Rehab in Fort Wayne was called to free the young eagle.

According to our partners in news at 21Alive, the bald eagle was exhaused from his ordeal, but was able to fly away safely. The handler says the bald eagle was lucky to not have gotten injured and that its wings were perfectly fine.
