FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): We've got another WOWO Scam Alert to pass along regarding the BBB awarding callers with prizes.

According to the Better Business Bureau of Northeast Indiana, consumers have reported receiving phone calls from a man claiming to be from the BBB. Consumers say the man has a very strong accent and is telling consumers that they have won a prize. He says that he is going to have it delivered by UPS, he just needs some information to do so.

BBB officials want to assure the community that this person is not a representative of the Better Business Bureau and their company does not call people to award them prizes.
