Two Straight Nights Of Storms, Tornado Confirmed From Sunday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Two consecutive nights of storms rolled through nothern Indiana, with 1 tornado confirmed by the National Weather Service on Sunday night on top of hail and strong winds on Monday night.

On Monday night in Allen County, reports of down tree's and hail were wide spread. Reports of 0.88 inch hail was spotted in Logansport, 1.5 inch hail in Starke County, 1 inch hail in La Porte County, and 0.75 inch hail in Elkhart County.

The line of storms occurred just one day after a confirmed EF-1 Tornado in Starke County on Sunday. It landed just 2 miles south of English Lake. The path of the tornado traveled a fifth of a mile and was 100 yards wide. 95 mile an hour winds were also reported.
