Boonville Teacher Voyeurism

BOONVILLE, Ind. (AP) – A southern Indiana science teacher has been arrested after police say he set up a camera in a faculty restroom.

The Evansville Courier & Press reports (http://bit.ly/Nsl6D3 http://bit.ly/Nsl6D3 ) that 30-year-old Andrew E. Emmons was arrested Thursday after another staff member discovered the device in a restroom at Boonville Middle School, about 15 miles northeast of Evansville. He was later released from the Warrick County Jail.
Emmons didn’t return a phone call to his home seeking comment. Warrick County Superintendent Brad Schneider says Emmons has been placed on indefinite leave.

Schneider says the restroom is primarily used by coaches and is off-limits to students. He says the district is cooperating with investigators.

Police say electronic items were confiscated from Emmons’ workplace  and his Newburgh home for analysis.
