Braun On State’s Emergency Alert Systems

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — Indiana Gov. Mike Braun has launched a task force to evaluate and strengthen the state’s emergency alert systems in response to the recent flooding in Texas that resulted in over 130 deaths.

The task force, led by the Indiana Department of Homeland Security and Integrated Public Safety Commission, will assess the current alert and warning systems in Indiana and identify opportunities for improvement.
