Car chase leads to arrest in Waterloo

STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A Waterloo man was arrested on multiple charges after a car chase through Steuben and DeKalb counties.

Just after 6 p.m. Sunday, Steuben County deputies attempted to stop a truck for speeding along CR 300 S near Old 27 in Steuben County, according to the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office. 

The vehicle, driven by 30-year-old Jesse Napier of Waterloo, failed to stop and continued to speed into the town of Waterloo.

Napier finally stopped at US 6 and Grant Street. He was taken into custody without incident.

Napier was booked into the Steuben County Jail on charges of resisting, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of paraphernalia and dealing meth.
