Car Hits, Badly Hurts 3 Men on Indianapolis Street

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Police say three people involved in a fight on an Indianapolis street were badly injured when they were hit by a car.

Police spokesman Kendale Adams says the driver told officers he didn't see the men on Madison Street near a strip club on the city's south side before hitting them about 12:30 a.m. Monday.

Adams says one of the men was unresponsive and was taken to a hospital in critical condition. The other two men were both taken to a hospital in serious condition.

The crash left the passenger side of the car's front window smashed in. Adams says the driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with investigators. He says no criminal charges are expected.
