A Fort Wayne home was destroyed by fire yesterday.  Investigators tell 21 Alive that improperly disposed smoking materials caused the blaze.  Firefighters were called to the home on Mechanic St near Center and found the structure engulfed by flames when they got there.  It took about an hour and a half to bring the fire under control.  No one was injured in the blaze, but the home was a total loss.
