Central Indiana School Mourns 2 Sisters’ Truck Crash Deaths

MUNCIE, Ind. (AP) – Educators at a central Indiana high school are mourning the deaths of two sisters killed last week in a car crash as good students who will be sorely missed.

Eighteen-year-old Annie Clark and her 16-year-old sister, Caroline, were killed Friday in western Indiana's Vermillion County when the pickup truck they were riding in crashed.

That crash also killed an 18-year-old western Indiana boy. The pickup truck's 18-year-old driver survived and remains hospitalized.

The Clark sisters were both students at Muncie's Cowan Junior-Senior High School, where students returning Monday from winter break had additional counselors on hand to help them deal with their grief.

The Star Press reports (http://tspne.ws/1xx17Jt ) that Cowan principal Patrick Bloom remembered the sisters as “outstanding young people'' who had touched many lives.
