Citilink Bus Station Moves

It was ten years in the making but finally it is done.  The ribbon has been cut on the new downtown Citilink station and transfer hub.

The folks with Citilink as well as elected officials turned out to yesterday’s event.  The actual move happens today, the reason for that is because the lowest ridership happens on Saturday’s and the folks with Citilink the minimal traffic should make the transition very simple

The $4.4 million station features a waiting room heated and cooled by a geothermal system, has restrooms, a place to buy tickets and a screen showing arrival and departure times. The 4.4 million dollar price tag was paid primarily through federal grant money
