City Council votes to loan The Fairfield Fort Wayne $1M

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Fort Wayne City Council voted to loan The Fairfield Fort Wayne $1 million during a meeting Tuesday night.

The city’s community Legacy Fund will supply the money for the project. It’s a small piece of the estimated $10 million to complete the building.

The Fairfield Fort Wayne will feature duckpin bowling, golf simulators and event space on Fairfield Avenue.

I could use $1 million. Where do I apply? When did a government start acting like a bank? Where in the US Constitution, the Indiana Constitution, or the Ft. Wayne Charter is this allowed?
