City to Have Warming Station Available Through Saturday – New Location

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The City of Fort Wayne will continue to have a warming station available through Saturday.

According to a press release, Saturday's warming station will be in the Omni Room on the garden level of Citizens Square, 200 E. Berry Street. The warming shelter will be open from 8:00 a.m., – 8 p.m., on Saturday, January 10th. Visitors are asked to enter the doors on the northwest corner of the building.

However, don't forget that the Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation Department’s Community Center, 233 W. Main St., is open until 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 9th, also as a warming station.


The warming stations are designed for individuals in need of a location to stay warm for a short period of time.
