WHITLEY COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Multiple police agencies have determined an alleged email threat at Whitko Middle School early Wednesday morning to be unfounded.

Administrators at the school received a threatening email early this morning. After an investigation by Indiana State Police and the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department, the perceived threat was found to be baseless.

An increased police presence was on hand at the school during the investigation.

Indiana State Police want to remind the public that if you see something, say something.
