FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): City Council has approved Fort Wayne's new budget for 2015.
  
The spending plan comes in it at $149 million dollars after council members whittled about a half-million dollars from what Mayor Tom Henry originally requested.
  
The 2015 budget includes $2.8 million dollars in extra wages because of a rare 27th pay period.

An extra pay period happens about every 10 years or so. This year's budget is about $142 million.
