FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Just before 7 Sunday morning, the Fort Wayne Fire Department arrived to the scene of an apartment fire at Twin Oaks Apartments on Paulding Road. Once in the building, crews found a working fire in the kitchen area of one of the apartments. No one was in the apartment at the time of the blaze, but two individuals safely evacuated before crews arrived, one of which was later transported to the hospital. The fire was under control in less than 10 minutes, and the cause is still under investigation.
