FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Several fire departments and the Fort Wayne Police Department are on the scene of a house fire in the La Cabreah housing edition. According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, crews were called to the house on Curricle Run, shortly after 1:00AM Friday morning.

A family of four, two adults and two kids, woke up in the middle of the night and discovered heavy flames and smoke inside the home. They called fire crews and it appears it was electrical in nature. It’s believed that the fire started near the garage, went up the wall and into the attic. It took crews about an hour to bring the fire under control.

No injuries were reported but, the house and a few cars sustained heavy damage.
