Daughter Joins Suit Against Fort Wayne Financial Company

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The daughter of a woman that is suing a Fort Wayne company for sexual harassment has joined the suit.

Julie Cunningham is the daughter of Kathy Gonya and she claims that Brigadoon Financial fired her in retaliation for her mother's lawsuit. According to the Journal-Gazette, Cunningham is seeing compensation and punitive damages.

Gonya claims that she was raped, sexually abused, and sexually harassed in the lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Fort Wayne. The company says Gonya is being malicious.

Her aunt, Marilyn Lahr, is also suing the company, claiming she was assaulted and sexual harassment, among other claims. An attorney for Brigadoon Financial says all of their claims are unsubstantiated.
