Development at Newspaper Site to Honor Pulliams

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): The current headquarters of Indiana’s largest newspaper will be turned into a mixed-use apartment project named for its longtime owners. The Indianapolis Star reports The Whitsett Group has finalized its purchase agreement for the four-acre property with Virginia-based Gannett Co. The terms weren’t disclosed. The new development will be named Pulliam Square in honor of the family that ran the newspaper for 56 years.
