FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): They say you can't outrun the long arm of the law.

That's the case for a prisoner who attempted to flee from authorities while receiving treatment at St. Joseph Hospital on Broadway. Police dispatch reports the inmate is in custody.

According to our partners in news at 21Alive, the prison was swimming in the nearby St. Mary's River at one point during the pursuit.
