Diverging Diamond Construction Moves to Second Phase

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The diverging diamond construction project at I-69 and Dupont is set to move to another phase Friday. Toni Mayo with INDOT says drivers will be seeing some new lane restrictions around that area.

As we work on the barrier wall, on the bridge, we're going to be taking parts of it down,

and reconstructing it and which ever portion of the bridge that we're working on, the lane beneath on I-69, will be restricted.”

Drivers can take the Union Chapel exit 317 to avoid the construction.

According to Mayo, the project is on schedule and should be completed by the end of the year.
