Election Board Considers Polling Location Changes

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): If you live in Allen County the way you vote, could be changing.

The Election Board is pitching a plan that would impact more than half the voting precincts in the county. According to the Journal-Gazette, 35 locations would be eliminated, 18 new ones would be created and over all the number of voting centers would drop to 111. The board says they want to make voting more convenient and accessible and trim costs.

The proposal is available online at www.acimap.us/acebworking.

The public is encouraged to review the proposal and submit comments using the online form at www.allencounty.us/voting-locations
