Ethics Commission Meets Over Moss/Fries Controversy

The Allen County Ethics Commission meeting over the Paul Moss controversial traffic stop was more of the same, back and forth between commissioners; some of who want this to push forward while others believe the Internal Affairs department of the police department were better suited to handle this. At yesterday’s meeting, Commissioner Tom Ryan called the proceedings a witch hunt. According to this morning’s paper, however, this did not stop the commission voting to proceed, and now they’re holding a public hearing on November 30th.  At issue is whether Moss violated the ethics code by calling Sheriff Ken Fries after he was stopped suspected of drunk driving.
