FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Frontier Communications in Fort Wayne helped honor the family of a fallen soldier Tuesday.

U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Paul Pabla was killed during combat operations in Iraq in July 2006. This week, his family was presented with an “Honor and Remember” flag at Frontier’s Fort Wayne offices, according to the News Sentinel.

The “Honor and Remember” program, which Frontier sponsors, takes place in 21 states and has presented more than 100 families with flags – containing a soldier’s name and service dates – in Indiana alone.

Pabla graduated from Huntington North High School in 2000.
