Deputies Find Suspect In Hit And Run Accident


WOLCOTTVILLE, Ind. (WOWO):  Police have found a suspect in a hit and run crash.

On early Sunday morning, deputies in LaGrange County were sent to Wolcottville to investigate an accident at 507 W. County Line Rd., but while in route to the scene located the suspects vehicle, a 2006 Ford Fusion.  They stopped him near CR 435 S, east of CR 500 E and found extensive windshield damage.  

The driver, 25 year old David Slone of Wolcottville, failed field sobriety tests, and when given a certified chemical test was found to have a .15 BAC.  He was send to the LaGrange County Jail on misdemeanor operating while intoxicated and false informing charges, and charges are pending the incident that occurred in Noble County.
