FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) Its the final farewell for a beloved Fort Wayne teacher.
Friday, students will celebrate the life and legacy of Cedar Canyons Elementary School teacher Chris Dodane in a school assembly.
It caps a week of activities devoted to the memory of the second grade instructor. Students at the school are also raising money for Dodane's family.
Dodane was killed August 12, the first day of school, when he was struck by a vehicle on Interstate 469.
