FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): One man is dead after a fatal shooting on the city's south side. Last night around 11:16, Fort Wayne Police responded to Southbridge Apartments on Bridgeway Lane in reference to a shooting. When they got to the scene, officers found a man, unresponsive, lying near the sidewalk, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Paramedics arrived and pronounced the victim dead. Witnesses reported they saw two black men run around the corner of a nearby apartment building after they heard gunshots. No arrests have been made and there are no suspects at this time.
