FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): FBI agents were spotted on the Maumee River near the Tecumseh Bridge Tuesday afternoon, but no one knows why. 

Agents would not disclose to the News-Sentinel what they were doing, only that it was part of an ongoing investigation. 

A rope was stretched across the river with two boats and at least one diver in the water. 

The Fort Wayne Fire Department was also on the scene, but they also would not specifically comment on what they were investigating.
