Fighters Make $5,000 Donation to Burn Camp

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): After the smoke clears,local firefighters are still battling the impact of the flames.

Monday Fort Wayne Professional Firefighters made $5,000 donation to Indiana Burn Camp. The camp benefits young people suffering the emotional and physical effect of severe burns.

Mark Koopman, Executive Director says the gift is significant because kids in every Indiana county have serious burns.

The funds come from the Get Green Festival during St. Patrick's day. The Indiana Lottery, Fire Police City County FCU and Five Star Distributing also contributed.
