A fire on Bowser just before 11 last night sent several people in surrounding houses into the street.  When fire crews got to the house, they found the garage on fire and believed that it would spread rather quickly so they had all of the houses around evacuated and called for extra help. It took them about 15 minutes to get it under control, no one was hurt and they were able to contain the blaze to the garage. They’re still looking into what caused that fire.
