FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): It took less than six minutes to bring a garage fire under control north of downtown. 

Crews were dispatched around 11:10 to a home on Riverside.

Firefighters were able to rescue two dogs from the structure. Investigators say the fire caused heavy damage.

Details were limited, but the fire was contained to the structure.
