Flights out of Indy cancelled due to NE storm…

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Nearly two dozen flights out of Indianapolis have been cancelled as a major winter storm swoops into the Northeast.

The Indianapolis International Airport’s website listed 23 cancelled flights late Friday afternoon, most of them flights to Newark or New York.

The National Weather Service issued blizzard warnings and predicted some areas could get 1 to 3 feet of snow.

Indianapolis Airport Authority spokesman Carlo Bertolini urges travelers to check directly with their airline. Flight information is available online at the airport’s website at WWW DOT IndianapolisAirport DOT com.
