FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): There will be more voices involved in the creation of the next Fort Wayne City Budget.

Mayor Tom Henry announced Thursday that the City Council and neighborhood associations will get to share their feedback much earlier in the process, starting with planning for the 2017 budget, according to the Journal Gazette.

Henry says the move will help the City better serve the needs and wants of its citizens. Council President Russ Jehl supports the idea, saying “most council members” would be happy to have the additional input.
