FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Mayor Tom Henry unveiled his 2016 City of Fort Wayne budget. Officials say the spending plan is essentially a flatline from 2015. This budget is $155.5 million, that's up $300,000 from the previous year.
Highlights of the plan including $3 million in projects for the parks system, 33 new firefighters and continued neighborhood street and sidewalk improvements.
The budget is expected to be introduced at City Council Tuesday.
