Fort Wayne FBI office, ISP investigate credit union robbery

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The FBI and Indiana State Police are seeking the public’s help identifying a suspect responsible for a robbery of the Fort Financial Credit Union in Churubusco.

The robbery happened Wednesday morning at 9:15am when a black man, standing about 5-foot-8, with a thin build, wearing dark pants, a white t-shirt, long jacket, and a fishing style hat entered the credit union and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. He also appeared to be wearing a type of face mask, according to photos released by the FBI.

He left the bank in a four-door, dark-colored older-model Ford. If you know who he is, call the ISP at 260-432-8661 or the FBI at 317-595-4000. Tips can remain anonymous.
