FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A man wanted in connection to a August murder has been taken into custody in California.

Fort Wayne police confirm that 36-year old Freddie Alcantar was taken arrested by officers with U.S. Marshal Service in Los Angeles County, California.

Alcantar is charged with murder in the August 30 stabbing of 59-year old Debra Jones in her Myanna Lane home in northeast Fort Wayne. Alcantar is awaiting return to Allen County.
