FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne Police are investigating an early-morning stabbing.

A Fort Wayne Police Department spokesman said officers were called to the 4300 block of Monroe Street at about 5:40 a.m. Tuesday. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds.

He was hospitalized in stable condition. The man told police he knew the woman who stabbed him. She ran away from the scene.

No arrests have been made. The stabbing is still under investigation.
