Fort Wayne police search for man wanted in connection to shooting

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne police officers are searching for a man in connection to a shooting that critically injured a woman.

Police say Jamarcus Antwan Cain, 32, is wanted in connection to a shooting in the 4600 block of Oliver Street. He is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.

On Sunday, Sept. 18, police were called to a home near Colerick Street and Plaza Drive. The caller said a woman has been shot and was driving herself to the hospital.

Later, the woman said the shooting happened in the 4600 block of Oliver Street.

Anyone with information about the Cain’s whereabouts is asked to call police at 260-427-1222.
