Fort Wayne Summer Storms Not Communicated Properly, According to National Weather Service

An internal review by the National Weather Service says warnings about a severe June thunderstorm in the Fort Wayne area failed to communicate the dangers posed by that rare storm. A weather service report says the agency did a good job issuing warnings about the storm. But it also found that the storm that cut power to more than 118,000 people “was not forecast well in advance.”
