FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The end of March capped a 30.5 cent per gallon jump in the national retail gasoline price average for the month. As prices now sit at the highest since November 2015, experts with GasBuddy say April brings the final phase of the transition to more expensive summer-blend gas. Most of the country will complete the summer-blend switchover at the end of the month.

In Fort Wayne, average retail gasoline prices have risen 7 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.00 per gallon yesterday. Nationally, prices increased 2.1 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.06 per gallon.
