Fort Wayne Woman Dies in Fiery Ossian Wreck

OSSIAN, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne woman is dead following a fiery crash south of Ossian Wednesday.

Ossian Police say 29 year old Christina Landrigan's Toyota Camry ended up smashed and sandwiched in between a semi and a grain semi on Indiana 1 south of Ossian. She was stopped behind the first semi when the grain semi failed to stop and rear-ended her.

34 year old James Mygrant of Bluffton was driving the grain truck and had to make a quick escape after the cab of the grain truck caught fire.

The fire shut down Indiana 1 for most of the afternoon Wednesday.

Landrigan was killed as a result of the crash.
