WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. (WOWO): Indiana State Police say a Fort Wayne woman died in a head-on collision in southern Illinois Friday.

The crash happened on a highway overpass at Illinois Route 148 in Williamson County. Our partners in news at 21Alive say that 29 year old Jessica Creath collided with a semi-truck head-on.

Creath died as she was being flown to a hospital. The semi-truck driver was treated for minor injuries. The exact cause of the crash is still being investigated.
