Fort Wayne Woman Sentenced in Fatal 2012 Home Invasion

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  A 20-year-old Fort Wayne woman was given a 30-year prison sentence with 10 years suspend, for her role in a fatal 2012 home invasion.

 

According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, Alisha Kizer, along with two other men, went into the Clinton Street home of 58-year-old Gregory Mitchell, looking for anything to sell for cash.

 

While inside, one of the men held Mitchell at gunpoint, a fight then broke out which resulted in gunshots that killed Mitchell.

 

Kizer told police she knew Mitchell through the community center where he coached and helped her and her sister.
