FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): U.S. Senator Dan Coats is joining other area lawmakers in voicing their objection to the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to uphold Obamacare subsidies.
Coats said in an online video he posted Thursday that he's “deeply disappointed” and that Hoosiers will continue to “suffer under a sloppily written, poorly executed law”.
Third District Congressman Marlin Stutzman says Hoosiers will continue to be harmed by the higher premiums, “job-killing taxes”, and mandates of President Barack Obama's health care overhaul.
Indiana State Senate President Pro Tem David Long of Fort Wayne agreed with Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia's dissenting comment that “the Affordable Care Act must be saved.”
