Repair Begins at Fort Wayne’s Parks

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): As the city dries out from recent flooding, Fort Wayne's Park and Recreations Department is facing major repair and clean-up expenses

Parks Director Al Moll says early estimates suggest they could be spending upwards of $100,000 to mend the parks.

He says they may end up repairing a few greens areas at Foster Park.  That could cost the golf course up to three or four weeks. That could mean as much as $150,000 in lost revenue.

It could also lose as much as much as 10 to 20 percent as they go to other courses and it could be months before the return.
