WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP): The Purdue Extension is urging Indiana farmers to scout their soybean fields for signs of two fungus diseases that can cut crop yields. Soybean fields around the state are showing signs of developing brown stem rot and what's called sudden death syndrome. Symptoms include yellowing or browning between the veins in soybean plants' leaves.
