FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne family was able to escape a house fire last night on the north side of town.

According to our partners in News at 21Alive, crews were called to a home on the 500 block of Springbrook Road to find black some coming out of the garage.

Firefighters had to break the garage doors and windows to put out the flames.

No one was injured and the home only sustained minor damage.
