Gang unit raids home, arrests two

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Two people were arrested last night in a raid held by the Fort Wayne Police Department’s Gang and Violent Crimes Unit.

Police executed a search warrant at a home on Kingsland Court, just southeast of St. Peter’s Lutheran School, at 8:21pm over complaints of drug dealing, shots fired, and an exchange of gunfire from and into the home recently.

Police found two handguns, as well as cocaine, narcotic pills, and drug paraphernalia.

38-year-old Octavius Franklin and 34-year-old Crystal Franklin were both arrested on drug charges. Octavius Franklin was also arrested on a weapons charge.
