NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Noble County police are investigating a Sunday morning crash that killed 40-year-old Brian Slone of Garrett. 

He was riding his moped south in the northbound lane on State Road 3 near State Road 8 when a car going north in the northbound lane hit him. 

Slone was pronounced dead on the scene.

28-year-old Ashley Dockery, told police that she saw Slone coming at her and attempted to stop, but she was unable to avoid the crash. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

As of right now, the Noble County Sheriff’s department and Indiana State Police are investigating.
