Geneva Man Killed in U.S. 27 Accident

GENEVA, Ind. (WOWO): A two vehicle wreck on U.S. 27 north of Geneva has killed a man and injured another.

Indiana State Police say 59 year old William Fox of Geneva was traveling northbound on U.S. 27 south of County Road 850 South at about 11:25 Monday morning.

His vehicle reportedly went into the left lane and was hit in the passenger side by a concrete mixer. The mixer then flipped and blocked U.S. 27 for some time.

Fox was taken to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, but his passenger, 43 year old James Bisel of Geneva, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the mixer, 37 year old Amos Wickey of rural Decatur, wasn't seriously hurt.
