Glenda Ritz at Indiana Statehouse to Protest Education Bill

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A handful of people upset about Indiana's ISTEP+ exam staged a protest last weekend and now, Glenda Ritz is protesting her replacement.

In Evansville on Saturday, protesters held up signs that read, “Too Much Testing” to show their support for eliminating the ISTEP exam.

State Schools Superintendent Glenda Ritz announced Friday the state would cut about three hours from the scheduled 12 hour test.

A bill is in the works to allow the State Board of Education to replace Ritz as its leader. She is at the statehouse today protesting that bill.
